for the chicago folks who read this: james and i will be vending at renegade this weekend.  it runs sat & sun, 9/11-9/12, from 11am to 7pm, and it's located on division between damen and paulina.  (i don't think i got a map yet showing where our booth will be exactly, but i'll update this if i find out.)

i highly suggest getting there on saturday around 1pm to see mucca pazza (punk rock marching band -- and if you roll your eyes at that description, i did too when i first heard of them, but they are amazing and kinda more like... gyspy music than punk, i guess?)

finally printed those silhouettes and frames i've been messing with forever onto yardage for a lolita dress...

i suppose i'll be needing silver lace for this. and silver shoes...

i am full-on tears streaming crying, and james and i are both in pain...

i wore this dress to work today, then decided to photograph it when i got home... then decided to take quick shots of a whole bunch of other dresses i've been working on...

they aren't really lolita so i'm not going to post them to sew_loli, but i wanted to document them nonetheless.

more bows. these are for applique onto a dress, but given that i was indecisive on color and made a ton, it's probably dresses plural (and/or skirts, totes, pillows, whatever). i might do some more this weekend (last printing days of this session, and my next class will be in july) because i still want some in a more pastelly pink, and maybe a grey.

but it is a must see (unless you are really creeped out by blythes, then perhaps do not click)

perhaps not everyone on my lj friendslist is sick of seeing these bows yet. i have a LOT of sewing ahead of me, since i've got three colorways of the bows for skirts, about 4 other prints for skirts or dresses (cat heads, bikers, pigeons, and a floral print) and then 8-10 storebought prints also in the pile, jeez.

i was going to link them all here but since i'm planning to update my blog with various posts about silkscreening this week, it will all eventually be there instead.
